740 ADULT GAMES AND 645 JUVENILE GAMES IN FOOTBALL AND HURLING

THE reports of the various subcommittees were adopted en-bloc. The Competitions Control Committee report showed that the committee administered a programme of fixtures that was made up of 740 adult games and 645 juvenile games in football and hurling and the Chairman Austin Corrigan pointed out in his report that “with the wonderful success of our County team it was a major achievement to have the fixtures programme completed by the 30th of November”. The report showed that disciplinary actions by the committee in 2014 had decreased from that of 2013 and Austin Corrigan felt that the introduction of the Black Card had contributed to that decrease.
