GAA GOLF CLASSIC SET TO TEE OFF MAY 31ST AT ROSSMORE GOLF CLUB

The Monaghan GAA Perpetual Golf Classic 2014 was launched in the county Training Centre, Cloghan last Wednesday night.

The Golf Classic will be held in Rossmore Golf Club on Saturday, May 31 to raise money for the Monaghan senior footballers’ training fund.
Teams of four will play for the Monaghan GAA Perpetual Trophy sponsored by McAree Engineering.

They will also compete for some great prizes including four Powakaddy Freeways, four Golf Buddy Watches, four Trolley Bags and four pairs of Footjoy Sports Shoes. To enter a team of four costs €250, while the sponsorship of a tee or green costs €100.

All sponsors are automatically entered into a draw to win four Garth Brooks tickets and must be present on the night to collect their prize.

A three-course meal will also be served in Rossmore Club House, with entertainment to be provided by special guests such as RTÉ pundit Joe Brolly, Kilkenny hurling legend Henry Shefflin and Armagh’s 2002 All-Ireland winning goalkeeper Benny Tierney and manager Joe Kernan.
