IT was heartbreaking for Emyvale when Kildare and Leinster champions Two Mile House booked their place in the AIB All-Ireland Club Junior Football Championship Final with an injury time winner at Pearse Park Longford last Sunday.

Two Mile House opened the scoring with a point by Chris Healy on four minutes and Niall Browne put them two points in front after seven minutes.

A minute later Emyvale opened their account through David McAllister and then equalised through a Daniel McMahon free. Then, in the 16th minute, Emyvale thought McMahon had given them the lead when one umpire waved the white flag but the other signalled for a wide and following a discussion with the referee the effort was ruled out.
Two Mile House hit three quick fire points between the 18th and 24th minutes from Aidan Casey, Niall Browne and Aidan Casey (free), the free allowed to be taken while an Emyvale player was receiving attention on the ground.

Emyvale struck back with a point from a free by Martin McAree on 22 minutes before Chris Healy pick off a good point to restore the Kildare men to a three points …
