HIGH TURNOUT AT DEFERRED CLONES CREDIT UNION AGM

After being “bailed out” on two occasions, Clones Credit Union was last week finally allowed by regulators to hold an Annual General Meeting — for the first time in two years. Over 300 people attended the meeting on Monday, 5th November. According to national media reports, Clones Credit Union is one of around 30 credit unions that have now received emergency funds from a rescue scheme set up by the League of Credit Unions.
