BLAYNEY MAN IS SENT FOR TRIAL

A 39-YEARS-OLD Castleblayney man has been sent for trial to Dundalk Circuit Court on January 10th next charged with the alleged manslaughter of a 25-years-old fisherman in the Co. Louth seaside village of Clogherhead .
Kevin McKernan of Black Island View, was charged with the manslaughter of Errol Dunne, Clogherhead, at Harbour Road, Clogherhead, on March 9th, 2010
Mr Dunne, a father-of-one child, was found with severe head injuries in the early hours of the morning and died in hospital two days later.
He was employed on a number of fishing boats and also worked as a part-time carpenter.
The accused was remanded by Judge Denis McLoughlin on continuing bail to the Circuit Court trial. He was ordered to surrender his passport.
