This weekend Sat 3rd and Sun 4th July sees a mini street festival take place live on the main street in Carrickmacross.

On Saturday, the main attraction is BIG GENERATOR, a very popular band in the North East. They will be going on stage at 9.30pm. The festival will kick off from 8 – 9.30pm by talented local artist, BRENDAN MCCAHEY.

On Sunday, we have a feast of quality bands for the young, the old, the brave and the bold. Starting 4-6pm with The UNDERCOATS, a highly rated and upcoming south Monaghan band. Then, there will be a feast of ballads from 6.30-8.30pm by the popular traditional band, SETANTA. To round off this star-studded festival, we will be treated to music by local group, ARMAGEDDON.

This is one of the finest line-ups to visit the North East region and it promises to be another great weekend in Carrickmacross.
