Monaghan County Museum was heaving with excited anticipation last Wednesday evening when Sir Jack Leslie, at the age of 97, strode into the museum’s gallery to give a rare public talk on his experiences during World War II. The talk was being held in connection with the museum’s current exhibition; ‘Castle Leslie – Between Two Worlds’.
