By Michael Fisher One of County Monaghan’s oldest residents Pat Treanor from Doogary in Tydavnet passed away peacefully on Saturday at his first and only home in his 104th year. Pat had lived through two World Wars, the troubles in the North and many other important world events. He celebrated his 103rd birthday on January 31st with his family, in the house where he had lived since his birth in 1912. He was the son of Eoin Treanor and Brigid Woods. TYDAVNET’S PAT TREANOR CELEBRATES 103RD BIRTHDAY

Pat Treanor from Doogary in Tydavnet is one of the oldest people in County Monaghan. He has lived through two World Wars, the troubles in the North and many other important world events.
