Monaghan Tidy Towns Committee got off to an early start for 2011 with a community clean up organised last Saturday. Secretary Emer Brennan thanked all those who turned out on the day and helped to collect nearly 50 bags of rubbish along the bypass. “We can say that 95% of that litter was food related and obviously had been thrown from passing cars and other vehicles.
