A letter protesting the downgrading of services at Monaghan General Hospital was handed to Taoiseach Enda Kenny during his visit to Monaghan last Friday by Sinn Fein member of Monaghan Co Council Sean Conlon. Monaghan Town’s Garage Theatre is preparing to raise the curtain on an exciting new era in its history.  The theatre is currently advancing with the transition process that will see it take up occupancy of new state of the art headquarters in March at the Monaghan Education Campus development at Knockaconny.
