IPPN PRESIDENT OFFICIALLY LAUNCHES MONAGHAN EDUCATION CENTRE’S EMBRACING SHARED COMMUNITIES PROJECT

On Wednesday 3rd October 2012, Gerry Murphy, President of the Irish Primary Principals’ Network officially launched Monaghan Education Centre’s “Embracing Shared Communities Project”. This project is part financed by the European Union’s European Regional Development Fund through the PEACE III Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body. Gerry has worked in schools serving disadvantaged communities his entire working career, both in Ballyfermot in Dublin and St Joseph’s NS, Dundalk.
