The Garage Theatre has re-located to its new state-of-the-art building on Co. Monaghan’s VEC’s Education Campus. Guests attended the theatre last Saturday night when Farney Players from Carrickmacross staged their hilarious production of “A Bedfull of Foreigners”. Monaghan Town’s Garage Theatre is preparing to raise the curtain on an exciting new era in its history.  The theatre is currently advancing with the transition process that will see it take up occupancy of new state of the art headquarters in March at the Monaghan Education Campus development at Knockaconny. The new €5.2 million Garage Theatre development that will open in January as part of the Monaghan Education Campus initiative at Knockaconny will provide the town and wider county and region with a major cultural and social resource, the members of Monaghan Town Council were told on Monday evening.
