An emergency county meeting has been called for tonight, Thursday in Castleblayney’s Glencarn Hotel in an attempt to stave off a threat to the future of Community Games in Co Monaghan. The National Community Games Annual General Meeting took place last weekend, 21st and 22nd of February, in Westport, Co. Mayo. Delegates and representatives from counties throughout Ireland attended to voice their opinions and to work together to further the success of the Games in the future. Riveting discussions and debates fueled the weekend with tremendous results.
