ATHEIST Ireland has established a new branch in Cavan/Monaghan and has been organising “Sunday Brunches”, where one of the main themes is seeking to ensure that the State does not impose the dogma of one particular religious faith on all citizens. Atheist Ireland describes itself as a “national advocacy group for atheism, reason and ethical secularism”. A formal Cavan/Monaghan Branch within the organisation has recently been created.
