MINISTER HUMPHREYS PLEDGES TO ADDRESS GENDER EQUALITY ISSUE THROUGH ACTION PLAN FOR JOBS

A pledge to investigate ways in which the Government’s Action Plan for Jobs can be utilised to advance the cause of gender pay and employment equality was made by Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation Heather Humphreys yesterday.

The Cavan/Monaghan Fine Gael Dáil Deputy was addressing a major symposium entitled “Rising to the Challenge – addressing Ireland’s pay gap” which she had helped organise along with Cabinet colleagues Minister for Justice and Equality Charlie Flanagan TD and Minister of State David Stanton TD.
