CRUCIAL EU SUMMIT IN BRUSSELS TO SET TERMS FOR NEXT PHASE OF BREXIT TALKS

A visit last week to the Monaghan/Armagh border at Middletown by a group of British MPs from an influential House of Commons committee demonstrated the differences over Brexit amongst the parties at Westminster, where the European Union (Withdrawal) Bill was being debated yesterday.

Meanwhile government leaders from 27 countries excluding the UK will meet at the European Council in Brussels tomorrow to decide when the next stage of the Brexit talks should begin.
