A MAN WHO ALLEGEDLY seriously assaulted a bus driver at a filling station in Monaghan last Sunday warned a judge that “God will punish you” as he was being refused bail at Monaghan District Court on Monday last.

Anas Kadad, a 29-year-old Syrian national was before the court on a charge of assaulting a Mr John Joseph Gallagher and causing him harm at the ‘Sam’s Bridge’ filling station, Coolshannagh, Monaghan town on Sunday last, 3rd December. The defendant is also facing an arson charge in….
