PÁRAIC DUFFY TO RETIRE AS GAA DIRECTOR GENERAL

Monaghan man Páraic Duffy has announced that he will retire from the post of GAA Director General on March 31 next year after a decade in the role.

Mr Duffy succeeded Liam Mulvihill in the top post in February 2008, having previously served as the Association’s Player Welfare Manager from January 2007.

He had previously chaired the GAA Audit, Coaching and Games, and Games Administration Committees at national level.
