The late horse trainer Oliver Brady’s legacy was fulfilled at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital on Friday afternoon, when the Shabra Charity Foundation headed by Ms. Rita Shah, donated genomic sequencing equipment at a cost of €750,000.

This groundbreaking machine has the ability to change the focus of medicine from cure to prevention as it has many life-saving, exciting applications. This is a first for Ireland, as these type of tests used to have to be sent abroad.
