Sinn Féin representative Sean Conlon told last week’s meeting of Monaghan County Council that he wanted to query with the HSE why senior citizens were not receiving hot meals once or twice a week from the kitchen of St. Davnet’s, as the service creates an essential outreach opportunity for rural senior citizens in a communal gathering.
