SMALL FIRMS’ BODY JOINS CARRICK CLLR. AND ‘ACTIVE AGE’ GROUP ON OPPOSITION

THE small and medium-sized enterprise body, ISME, which represents a number of businesses in the Monaghan, Louth, and Cavan region has joined in the opposition expressed by a number of public representatives, including South Monaghan Sinn Fein councillor Colm Carthy, against what he termed as “bullying aspects” by the government in relation to the issue of Public Service Cards.

The Irish Small and Medium Enterprises body has said it supports the call for a comprehensive set of FAQs in relation to the PSC. In a statement this week it said that taxpayers are entitled to know their money is being spent properly. They said that out of nowhere, a ‘debate’ had emerged…
