GAA CRITICISED OVER SKY TV DEAL

Féin representative Sean Conlon told Monday’s meeting of Monaghan County Council that the GAA had “sold its soul” to Sky TV.

He made this comment while proposing that the council should adopt a motion from Limerick City and County Council, calling on the GAA to halt the current practice of allowing Sky TV exclusive rights to screen particular Gaelic Games fixtures.
