The lack of one-to-one customer service in local bank branches is pushing many bank users online or onto other service providers, according to Carrickmacross based Sinn Fein councillor Colm Carthy. Speaking to THE NORTHERN STANDARD this week Cllr.

Carthy highlighted examples of banks putting profit margins before the customers who bailed them out after the financial crash. ‘I find it reprehensible that banks that were rescued by the Irish people during the financial crisis are now showing the height of disrespect to their customers.
