SMALL FIRMS’ BODY MAKES PRE-BUDGET PLEA TO MINISTER

THE Irish Small and Medium Enterprises Association, which represents a number of firms in counties Monaghan, Louth, and Cavan, as well as countrywide, has presented a pre-budget submission to Minister for Finance, Paschal Donohoe, T.D. In the submission on Monday last the Association outlined its top priorities, calling on the government to adopt a budget that is pro-jobs and proenterprise, in light of external challenges to the economy.
