AMBULANCE RESPONSE DELAYS AIRED IN CO. MONAGHAN

THE claims made last week by Fianna Fail councilor Seamus Coyle, a member of the North East Health Service Forum over delays in the time it took for ambulances to respond to emergencies in Co. Monaghan, including reference to a case in which a man died in the ambulance after a delay of more than an hour for the ambulance to reach him, was taken up this week by local Fianna Fail TD Niamh Smyth who also joined in expressing concern about ambulance response times in counties Monaghan and Cavan.
