Members of the Co. Monaghan True Blues Loyal Orange Lodge no. 1302 took part in the annual 12th July Orange Order parade in Belfast yesterday (Wednesday). They walked to the field at Barnett Demesne behind their banner. It features a picture of First Monaghan Presbyterian Church on the front and on the other side King William of Orange on horseback crossing the River Boyne on his way to winning the Battle against King James II in 1690, the anniversary of which is celebrated by the Orangemen and women.
