CO MONAGHAN COUPLE INJURED IN FERMANAGH COLLISION

A husband and wife from Co Monaghan were hospitalised after the vintage car in which they were travelling was involved in a collision on the loughshore Road near Blaney, Co Fermanagh on Sunday afternoon last.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland said that the driver of the vehicle had to be cut free by a firefighter following the incident. Both occupants, whom the PSNI did not name, had to be taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries, which were described as “not life-threatening at this stage.”
