Cavan and Monaghan Dáil Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin has welcomed the publication this week of the HIQA ‘Overview of 2016’ report on regulation of social care and healthcare services.
The long serving Dáil Deputy, who is his party’s spokesperson on Older People, has highlighted the inclusion of seven nursing homes across counties Cavan and Monaghan in the HIQA report that were inspected in 2016 and found to be in “full compliance with the regulations”.
The Sinn Féin Deputy, while pointing out that not all nursing homes across the constituency were inspected in 2016 and that that would explain the exclusion of other nursing homes in these counties from the list, …
