APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING TO BE OFFERED AT MONAGHAN EDUCATION CAMPUS

Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board have announced that they will be offering Phrase 2 training for electrical apprentices at Monaghan Institute on the Monaghan Education Campus starting in September 2017.

The development was welcomed as “very good news for Monaghan” by Minister for Arts, Heritage, Regional Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs, and Fine Gael TD for Cavan/Monaghan Heather Humphreys.

“The Government recognises that apprenticeship training plays an important role in job creation and the growth of sustainable jobs,” Minister Humphreys stated.

“In order to continue to spread job creation, we need to ensure that our people are equipped with the skills for the jobs of tomorrow. We need an education system that caters for everyone here in Cavan and Monaghan, and gives each individual a path to a rewarding career.”
