GALLAGHER RAISES MONAGHAN AMBULANCE CONTROVERSY IN THE SEANAD

Recent incidents in the Monaghan area in which ambulances took more than two hours to respond to medical emergencies were referred to in Seanad Éireann on Tuesday last by Fianna Fáil’s Robbie Gallagher.
Senator Gallagher told the Seanad that the ambulance service consistently “failed the time test” in the north-east region, and said there was a very real fear among local communities that, should they need an ambulance for themselves or a loved one, it would not arrive in time.
