The local branch of Conradh na Gaeilge organised a very successful Oíche Chultúir in Missy A’s café ar an Aoine seo chaite.
The special guest on the night was sean-nós singer Máire Ní Choilm, ó Ghaoth Dobhair, but variety was the order of the night, with several contributions from the floor.
The audience was a great mixture of the local community – made up of both longstanding and new Irish.
A huge thanks to Máire Ní Choilm, to the Fáilte Isteach New Irish group, to the funders Oireachtas na Gaeilge agus Foras na Gaeilge, and to Séamus McAdam of Missy A’s for his welcome to such an audience that expresses the diversity of Monaghan life.
