Monaghan Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) has announced the launch of its new website. The launch took place at the LCDC’s meeting on Tuesday, 1st September, 2015, and is the result of collaboration between staff in the Community Development and Information Systems Sections of Monaghan County Council. The website,, will promote the activity of the LCDC on an ongoing basis.   The following is a short summary of what the LCDC is about:-

In September 2014 a new interagency committee known as Monaghan LCDC was formed as part of the process of Local Government Reform. The Local Community Development Committee, or LCDC,   is a 17 member committee made up of both Statutory (8 members) and non-statutory (9 members) representatives.
