SUMMER WORKS SCHEME TO BENEFIT CO MONAGHAN SCHOOLS

A fillip for the Co Monaghan construction sector as well as a boost to the infrastructure of local primary and second level schools was heralded this week when details of the Dept of Education’s Summer Works Scheme were announced.

Under the programme, improvement and replacement works to windows will take place at Ballybay Central National School, St Dympna’s National School in Tydavnet, Monaghan Town’s St Louis Infant School and Scoil Bride at Mullaghrafferty.
Scoil Mhuire, Gransha; St Louis Girls National School, Monaghan Town and Scoil Mhicil, Rackwallace have been approved funding for structural improvements.
