HORSE TRAINER BRADY TAKES OVER REINS AT 460-ACRE HOTEL AND GOLF COURSE

IT WAS confirmed this week that popular Monaghan-based racehorse trainer and businessman Oliver Brady has acquired the magnificent 460-acre Moyvalley Hotel and Golf Course near Enfield in Co Kildare.

Despite his ongoing health problems, Mr Brady has linked up with international business partners Jane Tripipatkul of Thailand, her son Mark McCarthy — who describes himself as a proud Irishman — and Rita Shah, Oliver’s long-term business partner, an entrepreneur and board member of Enterprise Ireland, whose racing silks are instantly recognisable at race tracks all over Ireland.

Oliver and Rita are the co-directors behind the innovative Shabra Plastics and Recycling Ltd, which employs a staff of 70 people in Castleblayney. The company is a leader in plastics recycling, reprocessing, manufacturing and distribution not only in Ireland but also worldwide.

Situated next to the M4 motorway (only half an hour from Dublin) and close to Enfield, Co Kildare, the Moyvalley Hotel and Golf Course facility sits on 460 acres of historic Kildare countryside and was originally the home of the More O’Farrells.
