• LOCAL TUS JOBS’ SCHEME PROVIDES… A NATIONAL HEADLINE FOR CO. MONAGHAN WITH 100 JOBS FOR 65 GROUPS

A TUS Community Work Placement Programme, launched under the wide-ranging Monaghan Integrated Development structure, has set a national headline for the Border county in providing one hundred job placements since 2011, in co-operation with some sixty-five community and voluntary host groups.

The TUS initiative was established to provide short-term quality work opportunities for anxious job-seekers in the community and voluntary sector and the overall aim was to assist community and voluntary groups in both urban and rural areas in undertaking important local projects which they would otherwise be unable to achieve, due to lack of manpower or financial constraints.
