Monaghan Town runners AC are pleased to announce their continued partnership with Coral Leisure Centre. Coral Leisure Centre has played an important part in MTR’s progress since the beginning – two years ago, . Chairperson Catherine McAviney explains; “from the very first meet and train session Coral Leisure Centre has supported the MTRs by granting us use of the Centre to meet and also by allowing us to use their changing facilities for free, this gave MTRs a platform to plan and orchestrate its training sessions going forward”.

Catherine McAviney continues, “Coral Leisure Centre is also now the focal point of the Monaghan Town Runners AC’s extremely successful 10 miler race held in August each year. The use of facilities for the race means so much to making this event the success that it is”.

Monaghan Town Runners use the facilities three times a week for official runs on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights, but now the partnership has been further extended with the news that any fully paid up member of MTR’s can enjoy the discounted benefits of the services that Coral Leisure Centre provides.

This partnership shows a positive commitment by both parties to the promotion of fitness and wellbeing in the Monaghan area.
