A second man is to face a manslaughter charge as the result of the death of a Co Monaghan teenager from injuries received after he was subjected to assaults in Co Tyrone on New Year’s Eve last.
Nineteen-year-old Jason McGovern, from Tydavnet, was found dead in the home of a friend in Emyvale on January 1 this year.
The evening before he had been socialising with friends in Omagh when he was reportedly the victim of two separate assaults, one at a pub in John Street around midnight, and the other incident occurring later outside a night club in the Kelvin Road area while he was waiting for a taxi.
