Monaghan Motor Club crews simply went to the Donegal International Rally last weekend and conquered! They returned with the three most highly sought after awards on what is Ireland’s biggest International Rally, the only three day event of its kind still running in Ireland.

 Top picture shows overall winners of the event, James O’Reilly (left) and Sam Moffett being presented on the finish podium by CoC Eamonn McGee. Sam and James followed on from their Monaghan Stages Rally success with their 2nd overall win in as many outings in the McKinstry Motorsport S14 subaru. Sam and James beat the cream of Irish Rallying over the three days through the scenic Donegal countryside.

 Top right shows Newbliss siblings, Stephen and Suzanne Wright lifting the Group N title aloft in their EVO 9. Stephen and Suzanne had a faultless drive all weekend to claim top prize. Bottom left shows Gary McPhillips and Paul Sheridan with their young supporters being crowned national rally winners in their class 14 escort after an emphatic battle across Donegal beating the best there is in the two wheel drive category.Full report inside.
