What a night of world class boxing the Old School ABC supporters were treated to at the the National stadium, Dublin. In all thirteen titles were won at Friday’s Elite Championships finals and Katie Taylor recorded an emphatic victory on her return to competitive action since winning gold at London 2012. It was a night which also seen the retirement of boxing legend Kenny Egan where he received a standing ovation. A packed house with over two thousand spectator’s witnessed one of the best nights of Irish boxing in recent times. Gary McKenna of Old School ABC Smithboro gave a top class performance when he boxed against top International competitor Declan Geraghty in the final of the National Elite championships.
