The Garage Theatre has re-located to its new state-of-the-art building on Co. Monaghan’s VEC’s Education Campus. Guests attended the theatre last Saturday night when Farney Players from Carrickmacross staged their hilarious production of “A Bedfull of Foreigners”.
The audience was suitably impressed with the facilities available at the new venue which is now in a position to provide a diverse programme of events ranging from amateur shows to professional touring performances. Patrons can enjoy a pre-show drink in the café located on the ground floor or in the Bar (located on the first floor). Patrons have the facility to book shows and print-off theatre tickets from the comfort of their own home. It is now possible to log on to the Garage Theatre website, view the theatre’s seating plan and determine which seat they wish to book. It will still also be possible to book at the theatre, by phone and at Co. Monaghan VEC’s head office in Market Street.
