Cousin’s Martin Mc Kenna,  Drumully and Enda Fields,  Derrygasson are hoping to attempt the Dublin City Marathon 2012 (26 mile) on October 29th.  As part of their prepartions for the marathon they decided to raise some money in aid charity Sightsavers. Over the past few months they have held a number of events and yesterday  they hosted  a charity blind walk in aid of Sightsavers at Emy Lake. It was a great success and everyone expressed afterwards in Emyvale Leisure Centre during some light refreshments, their appreciation of having sight. Photos below show the event in progress.

Many, many thanks to everyone who came along to support this event – THANK YOU  – YOU HAVE CHANGED PEOPLES LIVES BY GIVING THEM THE GIFT OF SIGHT.
A total of 260 euro was raised on the day. Overall, to date  with your help a total of  675 euro has been raised. if anyone would like to donate please follow the following link
