As previously reported in the Northern Standard, the six-day stone sculpture symposium entitled ‘Mór Chuid Cloch’, began in Clones on Monday, 21st May and will continue until Saturday, 26th May.
Working in the Butteryard at the Creighton Hotel six sculptors from around Ireland, including two from Co Monaghan, will produce a sculpture each from local sandstone.
RTÉ’s Nationwide programme filmed the symposium and some of the historical features in the town on Monday.
